DAY 0-1 BORACAY ISLAND

Spending 2 days and 1 night in Boracay plus side trip to antique is not really an expensive trip. let me show you my itinerary, Expense Breakdown and all tips regarding my exploration in Boracay and Antique Philippines.

I actually arrive in kalibo Airport in Aklan Philippines at 22:00 in the evening, from kalibo international airport you'll need to take one ride bound to iloilo or antique for 2 Hrs, at that time our only choice was to ride a public van bound to caticlan, however when you arrived early they have a buses and public van which is more cheaper, the fare for van is PHP 100 and tell the driver to drop you in caticlan port. once you arrive in the port you need to pay for Environmental fee PHP 100 and Terminal Fee PHP 75. unfortunately trips of boat going to boracay island are limited so that we don't have a choice but to join in a private boat rented by the Korean tourist group and we pay PHP 100 each but actually when their is public bout the fare will be PHP 25 only. the boat travel time from port to boracay island will take 25 mins or less. in boracay port area you can ride a tricycle for PHP100 per Tricycle can load up to 5 persons and it will bring you to station 1,2 or 3.

Store in the sea side are all expensive, try to move around D Mall near the main road there are a lot of food Stuff or carenderia which is more cheaper than the sea side.

for Accomodation I can say Hotel Marie was a good choice, Clean Rooms, Comport Room with Hot/Cold Shower Toilet with flash for a cheaper price. for us we pay 2000 pesos for one night that is good for 5 persons so we pay 400 each.

From Caticlan Port you can continue your journey up to nearer Town which is Antique!

DAY 02 PANDAN ANTIQUE

From Caticlan port after your Boracay Exploration the most nearest town that you can go through is Antique, 45 mins Bus Ride for 129 pesos from caticlan port to reach Pandan Antique well known for its Cold Spring called Malumpati cold spring.

tell the bus coordinator to drop you in Pandan antique and mention that you would like to go in Malumpati cold Spring. in the jump off you can ride a tricycle going to malumpati, the fare will be 50 pesos per person. different activity can be done in malumpati like water tubing, water rafting and swim to its cold water.

Culasi Antique Mararison Island

From Pandan Antique main road 30 mins travel by bus you can reach another tourist spot located in culasi antique. from pandan ride a bus bound to iloilo or san jose antique tell the driver or the bus coordinator to drop you in culasi port,

from Culasi port in tourism office you will have to pay environmental fee of 20 pesos and registration fee of 10 pesos, the tourism office will be the one to provide the boat and you can rent it by 750 peso for 5 persons in excess will be additional 150 pesos. in less than 20 mins we reach the mararison island. upon getting there you can hired a tour guide that will bring you up hill and tour you around the island for 200 pesos, I'm so glad that they were all very accommodating.

From Culasi Antique after a tiring adventure the nearest spot to relax is tibiao antique!

Tibiao Antique

Tibiao Antique is just 30 mins away from Culasi port. you can ride a bus or tricycle to go there the fare was 40 peso per person. ask the driver to drop you in Barangay importante crossing, upon arrival in crossing habal habal will be available to bring you in Tibiao famous Kawa hot bath spa, 15 mins away from the main road the habal habal fare is 70 pesos per habalhabal can ride up to 2 persons each. it would be better if you can contact first the Kawa Hot Bath Spa before going Informations are listed at the end of this blog.
